Position Summary
The Contracts Manager is responsible for managing, reviewing, negotiating, and executing contracts that support crane, rigging, and heavy equipment operations. This role is critical for reducing risk, maintaining compliance, and ensuring the success of projects across the company’s branches. This position will report to the CFO.

Position Summary
The Contracts Manager is responsible for managing, reviewing, negotiating, and executing contracts that support crane, rigging, and heavy equipment operations. This role is critical for reducing risk, maintaining compliance, and ensuring the success of projects across the company’s branches. This position will report to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities
- Review contracts for crane and rigging services to assess risk and recommend mitigation strategies. Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
- Coordinate OCIP (Owner Controlled Insurance Program) projects OCIP project experience strongly preferred, particularly in high-risk or multi-contractor environments.
- Support sales, operations, and management teams during contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and alignment with company objectives.
- Draft, review, and manage various types of agreements, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and enforceability. Process contract modifications and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Administer multiple contracts simultaneously, tracking key dates, deliverables, and compliance obligations. Maintain organized and up-to-date contract files and supporting documentation.
- Track project and vendor performance to ensure compliance with contract terms and applicable regulations. Identify potential contract issues early and escalate to management as needed.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Branch Managers, Engineering, Finance, Credit, and other departments to support contract execution and resolution.
- Participate in activities to drive or support continuous improvement in contract management processes.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in contract administration, preferably in construction, crane, or rigging industries.
- Strong understanding of contract law, risk mitigation, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit at a computer, read computer screen, and input information for long periods of time. Sharing office space is a possibility. Some light travel could be required. Must be able to move about office as needed. Must be able to lift up to 5 pounds.
