Purchase Order Coordinator
Allegiance Crane & Equipment is a leader in the crane industry and currently seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join our corporate team in the Clear Lake area. We're seeking an energized, self-starter with strong analytical and Excel skills to help coordinate our purchasing process at the corporate level. This position will report to the Director of Asset Management.
Preference will be given to candidates located within 30 minutes of the Clear Lake area.
Requirements
- Responsible for creating Purchase Orders when requested.
- Compile and analyze data for the cost savings opportunities
- Develop spreadsheets to publish the savings achieved
- Check statements and invoices for accuracy
- Work with the Director of Asset Management to identify cost savings opportunities
- Review and update all locations Purchase Orders for processing
- Research any missing information for Purchase Orders such as billing backup, delivery tickets etc.
- File all Purchase Orders open and closed
Essential Qualities & Qualifications
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis reporting strongly preferred.
- Process review capabilities
- Effective verbal and written communication for collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.
- System implementation experience preferred
- Strong focus on accuracy
- Willing and Eager to learn
- Dependable, reliable and responsible
- Display a high level of professionalism
- Min 1 year working with purchasing and/or purchase orders
Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit at a computer, read computer screen, and input information for long periods of time. Sharing office space is a possibility. Some light travel could be required. Must be able to move about office as needed. Must be able to lift up to 5 pounds.
